Seamus, Walking Tours IrelandWelcome to the website of Walking Tours Ireland from Seamus and Nora.

For the past six years our family has been running the company Ireland by Bike, offering a range of cycling holidays in the North West of Ireland. We have loved doing what we do – welcoming people to our part of Ireland – and showing them our wonderful area. We have prided ourselves on providing top class customer service to everyone who joins us here. A few years back we introduced a combined cycling and walking tour, and the reaction of our customers was terrific. So now we have decided to start Walking Tours Ireland, offering walking and hiking tours in County Donegal.

We are fortunate enough to live at the bottom of Sliabh Liag (Slieve League) – one of the most stunning areas in all of Ireland – if not the world, and one of the signature points on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are a family who have always enjoyed hiking in the surrounding area, exploring the many hidden valleys and secluded stretches of coast. From the time they could walk, we brought our children to the hidden corners that many peole never see.

Nora, Walking Tours IrelandSo why did it take us so long to start providing walking tours? To be honest we’re asking ourselves the same question. But now that we have, we are delighted to be helping to share our wonderful area with others. There are so many hidden delights in this corner of Ireland that we really can promise you a wonderful walking/hiking experience. We can promise you a “Céad Míle Fáilte” when you arrive, and great support while you are here.

We have spent much of our spare time over the past 18 months planning our routes, in order to bring you the very best of what the area has to offer.  You might notice that our family feature in many of the photos on our website!

If you would like to ask us anything about the tours we now offer – feel free – we will be delighted to answer any questions.

Looking forward to meeting you…

Seamus and Nora Gallagher
